Abstract: A method for drying and treating flowable, pasty and liquid materials in the presence of solid dielectric bodies in an H.F. field, consists of continuously moving the material being treated through the field in conjunction with a given quantity of continuously recycled objects (e.g., granulate) of material inert to the material being treated. Pref. apparatus comprises a helical conveyor blade in a revolving pipe. The system is esp., applicable to very wet mixtures.
