Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing riboflavin granules suitable for continuous processing operation and favorable in the release rate of riboflavin from the tablets containing the granules. SOLUTION: This method for producing the subject riboflavin granules or riboflavin microgranules with a riboflavin content of 90-99.5 wt.% and granular size of 50-450 μm comprises addition of 0.5-10 wt.%, on a dry basis, of at least one auxiliary selected from the group consisting of the respective halides, carbonates, bicarbonates, and phosphates of alkali metals and alkaline earth metals, crosslinked cellulose, cellulose derivatives, and crosslinked polyvinylpyrrolidone, in granulation.
