    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a supported catalyst, consisting of at least 75 wt. % Al2O3, whose delta- or theta-modified fraction of Al2O3 is at least 1 % of the total Al2O3 fraction and which contains a rhenium compound and optionally a promoter as the active component (A).
