Abstract: Reducing agent compsn. for the single-stage dyeing of cellulose- contg. textile materials with vat and/or sulphur dyes, contains (a) a reducing agent obtd. by reacting (cyclo) aliphatic 4-8C ketones or mixts. thereof, with sodium dithionite in the presence of cpds. contg. basic N, and (b) 2-20% calc. on the dithionite of an o- and/or p-nitrophenol. Deep uniform, spot-free dyeings are obtd. by the single stage pad-steam process, and the dyestuff may be cold-fixed.
