SUITABLE BINDING AGENTS ARE MONOMER, OLIGOMER OR POLYMER SILANES, ALKOXYSILANES, ARYLOXYSILANES, ACRYLOXYSILANES, OXIMINOSILANES, HALOGENSILANES, AMINOXYSILANES, AMINOSILANES, AMIDOSILANES, SILAZANES OR SILICONES. THE INVENTION ALSO RELATES TO A CATALYST CARRIER THUS PRODUCED, A CATALYST CONTAINING SAID CARRIER AND THE USE THEREOF AS A DEHYDROGENATION CATALYST.
