    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect momentary concentrations of a plurality of gas constituents in combustion exhaust gas by providing first, second, third bands for measuring momentary concentrations of O2, NH3, and No. SOLUTION: A sensor is constructed of a three-band probe for detecting momentary concentrations of O2, NH3, and NO. A conductive material layer 2 ranging from a substrate 1 made of oxygen conductive material ZrO2 is arranged on one face. The conductive material layer 2 is provided with a recess and chambers 6, 7, 8 formed by covering sheets 3, 4, 5 so as to be used as first, second, and third bands. The first band includes a reactive catalyst for partially selective reaction with NH3 and O2, while the second band includes a reactive catalyst for partially selective reaction with NO, NH3, O2, and in the third band, a partial pressure of O2 is measured. In the respective bands, momentary concentrations of O2, NH3, and NO are measured, and consequently, momentary concentrations of a plurality of gas constituents in gas are detected.
