Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical battery with its improved electric conductivity by containing as an electrolyte a charge transport medium of an organic material having its low specific electrochemical conductivity and high degree of non-ionic charge carrier mobility. SOLUTION: An electrochemical battery containing as an electrolyte a charge transport medium of an organic material (liquid crystal hexa pentyloxytriphenylene) having its specific electric conductivity less than 10 S/cm and non-ionic charge carrier mobility exceeding 10 cm Vs is fabricated. Thereby, an electrochemical battery having its highly electric resistance for exclusively performing charge transportation is provided.
