    Abstract: A process for producing a molded article involves providing a thin-walled, gas-permeable shell; filling the shell with a foamed pelletized material composed of a polymer; and welding the foamed pelletized material to obtain the molded article.     Abstract: A manhole cover for manholes, sewer accesses or drainage channels, including a reinforcing element and a body made of plastic which is connected to the reinforcing element. The reinforcing element may be constructed from intersecting, vertically aligned elements. Corrugations may be formed in the reinforcing element. The reinforcing elements may be arched and may include an outer encircling strip and a central plate, which are each connected to the body made of plastic. The reinforcing element rests on a bearing surface on the manhole, sewer access or drainage channel when the manhole, sewer access or drainage channel is closed by means of the manhole cover. The body made of plastic includes ribs, which extend perpendicularly or at an angle of more than 45° to the surface surrounding the manhole cover, sewer access or drainage channel when the manhole, sewer or drainage channel is closed.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a formwork system (1) comprising a form lining (2) and at least one shaped element (10) which is attached to the rear side (4) of the form lining (2). The form lining (2) and the shaped element (10) have been produced by a 3D printing method. This is preferably carried out in a common 3D printing process, but the form lining (2) and the shaped element (10) can also be produced in separate 3D printing processes, with the shaped element (10) then being attached to the rear side (4) of the form lining (2). This is effected using at least one first fastening element (50). If, by contrast, the form lining (2) and the shaped element (10) have been produced in a common 3D printing process, the additional use of a first fastening element (50) for fastening the shaped element (10) to the form lining (2) is not required. According to the invention, the shaped element (10) and optionally the first fastening element (50) are attached to the rear side (4) of the form lining (2) in such a way that they do not touch or pierce the front side (3) of the form lining (2). The present invention also relates to the use of such a formwork system (1), for example in the production of structural elements made of concrete.

    Abstract: A process produces a composite component, which includes an insert and a plastics part made of a thermoplastic polymer. The plastics part at least partly encloses the insert. The process includes (a) placing at least one part of the insert or the insert into an injection mold, (b) closing the injection mold, and (c) injecting the thermoplastic polymer into the mold thereby overmolding the insert at least partly. The insert is modified before placing it into the injection mold or the insert is modified in the injection mold before the injection mold is opened to remove the composite component.
