Abstract:
The invention relates to a multi-layer composite system, containing (A) a planar substrate, (B) optionally a connecting layer, which can take up the entire surface or a portion thereof, (C) a foam material layer, (D) optionally a connecting layer which is made of the same material as the connecting layer (B) or of a material that is different from the connecting layer (B), (E) a polymer layer comprising capillaries which extend over the entire thickness of the polymer layer (E), wherein the polymer layer (E) has a pattern having a fish scale-like or a shark skin-like appearance.
Abstract:
Aqueous impregnating agent, comprises an urea derivative (I) and an emulsion polymer, where: the weight ratio of (I) and emulsion polymer is 1:99-99:1, and the emulsion polymer contains 2.5-10 wt.% of at least an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (in a polymerized form) containing an epoxide-, hydroxyalkyl- and/or N-methylolamide-group. Aqueous impregnating agent, comprises an urea derivative of formula (I) and an emulsion polymer, where: the weight ratio of (I) and emulsion polymer is 1:99-99:1, and the emulsion polymer contains 2.5-10 wt.% of at least an ethylenically unsaturated monomer (in a polymerized form) containing an epoxide-, hydroxyalkyl- and/or N-methylolamide-group. R 1>, R 2>H, OH (preferred), 1-6C-alkyl, 1-6C-alkoxyl, 1-6C-hydroxyalkyl or 2-6C-hydroxyalkoxyl; R 3>, R 4>H (preferred), 1-6C-alkyl or 2-6C-hydroxyalkyl; and n : 0-2, preferably 0. Provided that: (I) exhibits at least 2 hydroxyl group. Independent claims are included for: (1) a process for the impregnation of raw- or glued- paper comprising impregnating the raw- or glued- paper with the aqueous impregnating agent, bringing the obtained impregnated paper optionally into a form and subsequently drying the impregnated and/or formed paper; and (2) an impregnated paper, obtained by the above process.
