Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a mixture comprising (a) one or more liquid UV absorbers, under the stipulation that Tinuvin 384-2 is excluded as a liquid UV absorber, (b) one or more branched polymers comprising stabilizing groups, (c) optionally one or more further additives. Use of such a mixture for stabilizing inanimate organic materials against the effects of light, oxygen, and/or heat. Inanimate organic materials comprising at least one such mixture, and objects produced from such inanimate organic materials. Method for stabilizing inanimate organic materials against the effects of light, oxygen, and/or heat, wherein at least one such mixture is applied to the inanimate organic materials in an effective amount.
Abstract:
Novel liquid polymeric compounds of the formula (I) wherein the general symbols are as defined in claim 1, are disclosed as stabilizers for protecting organic materials against oxidative, thermal or light-induced degradation.
Abstract:
The invention pertains to a method of producing comb block copolymers from epoxy- functionalized nitroxylethers and further monomers by anionic polymerization followed by nitroxyl mediated controlled free radical polymerization. The block copolymer backbone has defined initiating points where radical grafting of ethylenically unsaturated monomers can take place. Further aspects of the invention are comb block copolymers obtained by this process and the use of such polymers for plastic applications.
Abstract:
The instant invention relates to a process for the preparation of star and block-copolymers, which are prepared by controlled free radical polymerization using epoxy-functionalized alkoxyamines and multifunctional compounds capable of reacting with the epoxy group.
