Abstract: Material compuesto, que contiene los componentes (A) por lo menos un polímero termosensible y (B) por lo menos un material de construcción inorgánico en edonde el material compuesto contiene adicionalmente un componente (C), por lo menos un mineral de arcilla, en donde el componente (A) tiene una temperatura crítica inferior de solución (LCST), en el que la temperatura crítica inferior de solución (LCST) está en el intervalo de 5 a 70 °C y en donde el componente (B) es elegido de entre el grupo consistente en aglutinantes que fraguan de modo hidráulico y aglutinantes que fraguan de modo no hidráulico, y en donde el componente (C) no es un aglutinante, caracterizado porque el material compuesto contiene en el intervalo del 5 al 45 % en peso el componente (A), en el intervalo del 10 al 94,9 % en peso el componente (B) y en el intervalo del 0,1 al 45 % en peso el componente (C), referido en cada caso a la suma de los porcentajes en peso de los componentes (A), (B) y (C).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a composite for thermal insulation comprising at least layers (L1), (L2) and (LB), the process comprising the steps of providing layer (L1) containing from 25 to 95% by weight of aerogel and from 5 to 75% by weight of fibers and from 0 to 70% by weight of fillers and layer (L2) containing from 25 to 95% by weight of aerogel and from 5 to 75% by weight of fibers and from 0 to 70% by weight of fillers; applying a composition (C1) comprising an inorganic binder on one surface of the layer (L1) or layer (L2) or layer (L1) and (L2), and combining layer (L1) and layer (L2) in a manner that composition (C1) is located between layer (L1) and (L2), wherein composition (C1) is applied in the form of a, as well as a composite for thermal insulation comprising at least layers (L1), (L2) and layer (LB) which is located between layers (L1) and (L2) and the use of said composite for thermal insulation.
