Abstract: Isocyanate adducts (I) made by reacting polyisocyanate(s) with compounds containing at least 2 NCO-reactive hydrogens, showing a crystallinity of less than 10 J/g by DSC, and an aromatics content of less than 31 wt.%, given as carbon atoms in aromatic rings. An Independent claim is also included for a method for the production of (I) by reacting (a) at least difunctional isocyanates with (b) compound(s) with at least 2 NCO-reactive H atoms in presence of (c) catalysts, in which (b) comprise (bi) polyether-polyol(s) with a functionality of more than 2.5 and a mol. wt. of more than 300 (preferably 300-1000) and (bii) polyol(s) with a functionality of 1.7-3 and a mol. wt. of more than 1000, and the reaction is carried out with an isocyanate index of less than 200.
