Disclosed is a) a conjugated peptide being conjugated with at least one reducing sugar and a degree of conjugation of at least 10 percent, preferably being in solid form such as powders; b) a method for preparing non-bitter conjugated protein hydrolysates comprising hydrolyzing a protein by at least one enzyme, mixing the resulting protein hydrolysate and at least one reducing sugar, heating the mixture to perform a Maillard reaction and drying the composition; c) a method for masking the bitter taste of a peptide comprising mixing a peptide and a reducing sugar, heating the mixture to perform a Maillard reaction and drying to obtain a powder; and d) the use of a conjugated peptide for food products, dietary supplements, pharmaceutical products and animal feed products.

The invention relates to an aqueous transparent oil-in-water emulsion comprising an emulsified carotenoid in a concentration of 0.025-2000 ppm. Some claims relate to a process including the step of a) manufacturing a solution comprising modified starch and/or at least one surface active protein and water, b) manufacturing a solution by mixing at least one carotenoid in triacylglycerol oil and melting the dispersed carotenoid at a temperature of 100 - 200[deg.]C c) introducing the solution of step b) into solution of step a), d) performing at least one step of pre-emulsification by passing the mixture of step c) through a rotator/stator mixer, e) performing at least one step of high pressure homogenization, f) spray drying the emulsion of step e) to obtain a powder. The emulsion or the powder is useful as a food colorant or as replacement for azo dyes.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine pulverförmige Vitaminzubereitung, in der das Vitamin im Wesentlichen eine Teilchengrösse von weniger als 0,7 µm besitzt und die eine wirksame Menge Propylgallat enthält, außerdem Verfahren zur Herstellung dieser Zubereitung,sowie Zubereitungen erhältlich nach diesen Verfahren und deren Verwendung als Tierfuttermittel, Lebensmittel, Nahrungsergänzungsmittel, Körperpflegeprodukt oder pharmazeutisches Mittel. Die erfindungsgemäßen Zubereitungen weisen eine gegenüber dem Stand der Technik verbesserte Stabilität auf.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Carotenoid- und/oder Vitamin und/oder Omega-3-Fettsäuren und/ oder Phytosterole und/oder konjugierte Linolsäuren enthaltenden Partikeln mit enger Partikelgrössenverteilung und gleichmäßiger Kugelform und Dichte, sowie Partikel erhältlich nach diesem Verfahren und deren Verwendung als Nahrungsergänzungsmittel, Lebensmittel, Futtermittel, Körperpflegeprodukt und Arzneimittel. Die erfindungsgemäßen Partikel weisen eine gegenüber dem Stand der Technik verbesserte Lagerstabilität auf. Die Partikel werden mittels Vibrationsvertropfung hergestellt.
