Abstract: Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft Monoazofarbstoffe der allgemeinen Formel (I) und deren Salze. Die Monoazofarbstoffe der allgemeinen Formel (I) sind in besonderer Weise für die Lederfärbung geeignet und verleihen einem damit gefärbten Leder eine gelbe Färbung mit herausragenden Echtheiten. worin n für 0, 1 oder 2 steht; R 1 für Wasserstoff, C 1 -C 4 -Alkyl, COOH, C 1 -C 4 -Alkoxycarbonyl, C 1 -C 4 -Alkoxy, CN oder Halogen steht; R 2 für eine Gruppe -CH=CH 2 oder CH 2 -CH 2 -Q steht, worin Q für eine unter alkalischen Bedingungen abspaltbare Gruppe steht, Naphth für einen Rest der Formel (X) oder (Y) steht, worin m für 0, 1 oder 2 steht und * die Verknüpfung mit dem Stickstoff des Pyrazolrings bedeutet.
