Abstract: In a method for removing acid gases from a fluid stream, a) the fluid stream is treated in an absorption zone with an absorbent that comprises an aqueous solution of at least one amine, b) the treated fluid stream is conducted through at least two wash zones and is treated with a non-acidic aqueous phase in order to transfer entrained amine and/or entrained amine decomposition products at least in part into the aqueous phase, wherein aqueous phase is recycled through at least one wash zone and aqueous phase is conducted through at least one wash zone without recycling. The method permits an efficient retention of amines from the treated fluid streams.

Abstract: Procedimiento para la separación de gases ácidos de un flujo de fluido, en el que a) se trata el flujo de fluido en una zona de absorción con un agente de absorción que comprende una solución acuosa al menos de una amina, b) se conduce el flujo de fluido tratado por al menos dos zonas de lavado y se trata con una fase acuosa no ácida para transferir amina arrastrada y/o productos de descomposición de amina arrastrados al menos parcialmente a la fase acuosa, reciclándose la fase acuosa a través de al menos una zona de lavado y conduciéndose la fase acuosa sin reciclado por al menos una zona de lavado, en el que una primera zona de lavado está dispuesta por encima de la zona de absorción y una segunda zona de lavado está dispuesta por encima de la primera zona de lavado, en el que se recicla la fase acuosa a través de la segunda zona de lavado, se conduce un flujo parcial de la fase acuosa reciclada a través de la segunda zona de lavado por la primera zona de lavado y se combina la fase acuosa que sale de la primera zona de lavado con el agente de absorción en la zona de absorción y se enfría la fase acuosa reciclada a través de la segunda zona de lavado.

The method permits efficient retention of amines from the treated fluid streams.
