    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for producing a thermally stable thermoplastic polyoxazolidinone compound including the steps of mixing (a) at least one diisocyanate, (b) at least one organic compound having two epoxide groups, (c) at least one catalyst, catalyzing the formation of oxazolidinone groups and (d) optionally at least one solvent to form a polyoxazolidinone, and contacting this polyoxazolidinone with carbon dioxide. Further disclosed herein are a thermoplastic polyoxazolidinone, obtained from the disclosed method, a method for producing a molded part including the step of melting the polyoxazilodinone, introducing the melt into a mold, cooling the polyoxazolidinone in the mold to temperatures below its melting point and demolding the obtained molded part, and a molded part obtained by such a method.

    Abstract: The invention relates to an elastic membrane comprising an elastomer having an elongation at break of greater than 150% measured according to DIN 53504, wherein the thermoplastic elastomer (P1) comprises a polyurethane elastomer based on the following components: 11 % to 79% by weight of a mixture of at least one diol (D1) and at least one isocyanate (I1), 21% to 89% by weight of at least one compound (C1) having at least two isocyanate-reactive groups. The invention further relates to a process for producing such an elastic membrane comprising an elastomer having an elongation at break of greater than 150% measured according to DIN 53504. The invention further relates to an elastic membrane comprising an elastomer having an elongation at break of greater than 150% measured according to DIN 53504 obtained or obtainable by the process, to an elastic fabric comprising a fabric and at least one laminated-on elastic membrane, having an overall elongation at break of greater than 150% measured according to DIN 53504, and also to the use of the elastic membrane or of an elastic membrane obtained or obtainable by the process for the coating of fabric.
