Abstract:
Disclosed are keratin-binding polypeptide agents in the form of conjugates (A'B'C') or (A'B'C'D') comprising (A') a polypeptide sequence derived from a keratin-binding polypeptide (A), and (B') a statistical average of at least one polymer chain derived from a water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer (B) that carries lateral and/or terminal reactive functional groups (b1) and is selected in such a way as to form a homogeneous aqueous solution or dispersion along with the keratin-forming polypeptide (A) to be reacted to form the conjugate (A'B'C') or (A'B'C'D') in standard conditions, the polypeptide (A) in said aqueous solution or dispersion still having a keratin-binding activity. (C') At least one linker group links the polymer chain (B') to the polypeptide sequence (A'), and (D') optionally, a statistical average of at least one effector group is linked to the polymer chain (B'). Also disclosed are a method for the production of said active polypeptide substances and the use thereof for modifying keratin and keratin-containing materials and producing cosmetic and pharmaceutical compositions.
Abstract:
Use of resilin proteins in cosmetics, characterised in that the resilin p roteins contain between one and one hundred repetition units with the consen sus sequence SXXYGXP, where S = serine, X = any amino acid, Y = tyrosine, G = glycine and P = proline.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to cosmetic or dermatological preparations comprising at least one active ingredient, at least one molecularly imprinte d polymer in the presence of this active ingredient and at least one fatty p hase.
Abstract:
The invention relates to keratin-binding effector molecules comprising reactive dyes and keratin-binding polypeptides and to their use in hair-dyeing preparations. The present invention further relates to a method of dyeing hair.
Abstract:
The invention relates to novel keratin-binding protein active substances, and also to the production and use thereof. Particularly suitable keratin-binding polypeptides are sequences which are contained in human desmoplakin or are derived therefrom by altering the human desmoplakin polypeptide sequences such as amino acid insertions, substitutions or deletions. The polypeptide sequences of the human desmoplakin is represented in SEQ ID NO: 1. A suitable keratin-binding domain (domain B) is the polypeptide sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, position 2193 2481, in addition to functional equivalents thereof. An additional keratin-binding domain (domain C) is the polypeptide sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, position 2606 2871 and the functional equivalents thereof.
Abstract:
