Abstract: A module battery having high thermal insulating performance during standby and being easy to manufacture is provided. In a module battery container including: a box for containing a plurality of cells each being a high-temperature secondary cell; and a lid for occluding an opening of the box, the box and the lid each have an atmospheric thermal insulating structure including: an inner container and an outer container each including a metal plate and having a cuboid shape; and a thermal insulating material loaded between the inner container and the outer container, and, in each of the box and the lid, the inner container and the outer container are not in contact with each other, and the thermal insulating material is exposed only at an open end.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an adiabatic, zoned reactor for the reforming of NH3 to N2 and H2, the reactor particularly comprising n reaction zones arranged in sequence and extending along the axial length L of the reactor, wherein n is an integer in the range of from 2 to 5, wherein independently from one another, each of the n reaction zones comprises one or more catalytic components, wherein from the inlet reaction zone to the outlet reaction zone each reaction zone displays a lower light-off temperature T50 in the reforming of NH3 to N2 and H2 then the subsequent downstream one. Further, the present invention relates to a production unit comprising said reactor, a process for the reforming of NH3 to N2 and H2, and use of said reactor and said production unit.

Abstract: An electrode unit for an electrochemical device, comprising (i) a solid electrolyte which divides a space for molten cathode material, selected from the group consisting of elemental sulfur and polysulfide of the alkali metal anode material, and a space for molten alkali metal anode material, and (ii) a porous solid state electrode directly adjacent to the solid electrolyte within the space for the cathode material, with a non-electron-conducting intermediate layer S present between the solid state electrode and the solid electrolyte, wherein this intermediate layer S has a thickness in the range from 0.5 to 5 mm and, before the first charge of the electrochemical device, has been impregnated fully with a polysulfide composition, comprising (A) pure polysulfides Met2Sx with Met=alkali metal of the alkali metal anode material selected from lithium, sodium, potassium, and x is dependent on the alkali metal and is 2, 3, 4 or 5 for Na and is 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 for Li and is 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 for K, or (B) mixtures of the polysulfides of one and the same alkali metal from (A) with one another.
