Abstract: Disclosed is a method for immobilizing proteins on a carrier, characterized in that the protein is incubated with the carrier in an aqueous phase in a discontinuous contact vacuum mixer dryer and in that the immobilized protein is then immediately dried, if necessary following an optional washing step, in the same contact vacuum mixer dryer.
