Abstract: Coupling device (100, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) configured to be mechanically coupled to a cap (102, 1303) of a container (123, 1301, 1401) in a coupled configuration. The coupling device can be used in combination with a crop protection spray system (1409)and comprises a single probe (124, 1407) and a first and a second mechanical mechanism. The first and the second mechanical mechanisms are independent from each other. A first mechanism allows drawing the cap (102, 1303) and the container (123, 1301, 1401) towards the coupling device (100, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) thereby sealing and locking the cap (102, 1303) and the coupling device (100, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) into a desired position. The second mechanism facilitates actually moving the probe (124) to thereby lifting the probe (124) with the closure insert (101, 1302, 1408) into the container (123, 1301, 1401). The coupling device (100, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) may comprise a first, second and third tube (1304, 1306, 1315) which are arranged concentrically. The first tube (1304, 1306, 1315) may guide air (1309) through the coupling device (100, 102, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) into the container (123, 1301, 1401) and the second tube (1304, 1306, 1315) may transport rinsing water (1201) into the container (123, 1301, 1401). The third tube (1304, 1306, 1315) may be configured for sucking liquid (1312) out of the container (123, 1301, 1401) through the coupling device (100, 102, 1100, 1200, 1300, 1400) and outside of the coupling device.

Abstract: A container is provided which allows for draining the liquid via one of the openings of the cap and allows for venting the container simultaneously via the other opening of the cap. Advantageously, also rigid containers, even large sized ones, can be used due to the venting function provided by the dual function closure of the container and the cap. In other words, a container with a dual function closure comprised by the cap itself is presented which facilitates draining and venting the container. The cap comprises a locking means adapted to engage with a locking interface of a coupling device. Thus, engaging a locking interface of the coupling device with the locking means of the cap such that the coupling device and the cap of the container are fixed is comprised. This provides a secure and reliable fastening means. Advantageously, the cap can be permanently fixed to the container, i.e. before, during and after draining, venting and/or washing the container. Further, such a container comprising the cap with the two closure inserts facilitates that upon disconnecting the container from a coupling device an automatic resealing of the container is caused. The container as presented herein facilitates the provision and use of a valuable closed transfer system for transferring the liquid from the container. Moreover, this embodiment of the invention provides for a reliable and cheap closing mechanism which is permanently fixed at the container.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a coupling device configured to be mechanically coupled to a springless cap of a container to be in a coupled configuration. The coupling device comprises a first probe configured to be inserted into a first opening of the cap, a second probe configured to be inserted into a second opening of the cap, a first sleeve configured to cover a first extraction aperture of the first probe and a second sleeve configured to cover a second extraction aperture of the second probe. The first sleeve is slideably attached to the first probe and the second sleeve is slideably attached to the second probe. Furthermore, the coupling device is configured, when in the coupled configuration, to disengage a first closure insert of the cap from a first shoulder of the cap by axially pushing the first closure insert with the first probe. The coupling device is also configured, when in the coupled configuration, to disengage a second closure insert of the cap from a second shoulder of the cap by axially pushing the second closure insert with the second probe. In an embodiment the coupling device comprises a probe translation control mechanism and / or a sleeve translation control mechanism. The plugs in the cap may have a spring function derived from a material memory in the legs of the plug and this is used to retain the plugs in position and sealed.
