Abstract:
A process for continuously preparing copolyamides by copolymerizing at least one lactam (A) and monomers (M), comprising the steps of a) mixing at least one lactam (A) with monomers (M) at a temperature of 60 to 150° C. and b) passing the mixture obtained in step a) from the top downward through a vertical polymerization tube at polyamide-forming temperatures to obtain a copolyamide, wherein the monomers (M) comprise at least one C32-C40 dimer acid (B1) and at least one C4-C12 diamine (B2) and optionally at least one C4-C20 diacid (B3).
Abstract:
The present invention provides a process for producing polyamides, which comprises a) providing a monomer composition comprising at least one lactam or at least one aminocarbonitrile and/or oligomers of these monomers, b) reacting the monomer composition provided in step a) in a hydrolytic polymerization at elevated temperature in the presence of water to obtain a reaction product comprising polyamide, water, unconverted monomers and oligomers, c) the reaction product obtained in step b) being fed into at least one kneader (3) and subjected to a postpolymerization, d) optionally forming the reaction product obtained in step c) to obtain polyamide particles, e) optionally treating the reaction product obtained in step c) or the polyamide particles obtained in step d) with at least one extractant.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for producing a polymer film (P) comprising a polyamide composition (PC) by extruding the polyamide composition (PC) through an annular die and then stretching the tube thus obtained by blowing in air. The present invention further relates to the polymer film (P) obtainable by the process of the invention and to a process for packaging foodstuffs with the polymer film (P).
