The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a body made of a porous material derived from precursors of the porous material in a sol-gel process, comprising (i) providing a mold (10), wherein the mold (10) comprises a lower part (12) defining an interior volume for receiving the precursors of the porous material, wherein the interior volume defines the shape of the body to be manufactured, wherein the lower part (12)comprises a first opening (20), and at least a first opening (20) through which the body isremovable from the lower part (12), wherein surfaces of the lower part (12) facing the interior volume are at least partially provided with a coating (26) made of a material being electrically dissipative and non-sticky to the precursors of the porous materialand/or the body, (ii) filling precursors of the porous material into the lower part (12) in a first inert or ventilated region (52), wherein the precursors include two reactive components (CA, CB) and a solvent (S), (iii)removing the body from the lower part (12) through the first opening (20) after a predetermined time in which the body is formed from the precursors of the porous material, (iv) disposing the body onto a support (66), and (v) removing the solvent (S) from the body.

A process for purifying a polycarbodiimide comprising (a) providing a mixture comprising a polycarbodiimide and a carbodiimidization catalyst; (b) separating carbodiimidization catalyst from the polycarbodiimide by subjecting the mixture according to (a) to a first distillation, (c) adding an entrainer to the first bottom product obtained from (b) to obtain a mixture; (d) further separating carbodiimidization catalyst from the polycarbodiimide by subjecting the mixture obtained from (c) to a second distillation.

Verfahren zur Entnahme von Schüttgut aus einem oben offenen Behälter mittels einer Absaugvorrichtung, die mindestens ein Absaugrohr (10) und einen oder mehrere Abstreifer (12) umfasst, wobei die Absaugvorrichtung von oben auf die Oberfläche des Schüttguts im Behälter aufgelegt wird und Schüttgut durch das mindestens eine Absaugrohr (10) abgesaugt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass während einer wiederholten relativen Drehbewegung zwischen Abstreifer (12) und Oberfläche des Schüttguts im Behälter Schüttgut entlang des oder der Abstreifer (12) in Richtung des mindestens einen Absaugrohres (10) gefördert wird.

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a plurality of bodies (12) made of a porous material derived from precursors of the porous material in a sol-gel process. The method comprises (i) filling precursors of the porous material into a mold (10) defining the shape of the body (12), wherein the precursors include at least two reactive components (CA, CB) and a solvent (S) and forming a gel body, (ii) repeating step (i) so as to form a plurality of gel bodies (12), (iii) removing the gel bodies (12) from the mold (10) after a predetermined time in which the gel bodies (12) are formed from the precursors of the porous material, (iv) arranging the gel bodies (12) adjacent to one another, (v) providing a spacer (14) between two adjacent gel bodies (12) so as to provide a clearance therebetween, and (vi) removing the solvent (S) from the gel bodies (12).

A process for producing a polycarbodiimide, comprising polymerizing a diisocyanate in the presence of a carbodiimidization catalyst in a reaction vessel in liquid phase at a temperature in the range of from 20 to 250 °C, at a pressure in the range of from 20 to 800 mbar and in the presence of at least one inert gas, wherein the at least one inert gas is introduced into the liquid phase in the reaction vessel with a flow rate in the range of from 0.1 x/h to 100 x/h, x being the volume of the reaction vessel.
