Abstract: An apparatus and a system are provided for delivering a peritoneal dialysis solution to a patient. A connector containing a first set of conduit segments and a loader containing a second set of conduit segments are mated together such as with a mating set of tracks and slots so that the two sets of conduit segments form a plurality of conduits that are each sealed from the other conduits. The loader is provided with a device for mating the conduit segments together in sealed relationship such as an eccentrically mounted rotatable cylinder and a platen in contact with the cylinder. The apparatus permits delivery of the dialysis solution to the patient and removal of the solution subsequently from the patient.

Abstract: UNIVERSAL CONNECTOR A universal connector for a fluid flow conduit 14 comprises a tubular connector 12 for attachment at one end to the fluid flow conduit and defining a luer taper tube portion 16 at its other end. A sleeve 18 is carried by and surrounding the tubular connector 12 in relatively rotatable relation thereto. the sleeve 18 defines internal threads 20 for threaded locking connection with another connector. A tubular member 22 having external threads 24 at one end is locked by said external thread in removable threaded locking connection with the internal threads 20. The tubular member defines at its other end an aperture 26 for sealingly receiving a spike connector.

Means are also provided for testing the sterility integrity of the system. The interface apparatus permits delivery of a plurality of fluid streams without cross contamination of the fluid streams.
