Abstract: An improved port ¢12 and 112! and closure ¢10 and 110! assembly is provided. The closure ¢10 and 110! is overmolded to the port ¢12 and 112!. The closure ¢10 and 110! hermetically seals the port ¢12 and 112! and provides a tamper evident closure. The closure cooperates with the port ¢12 and 112! to provide a band ¢154! that circumscribes the port ¢12 and 112 after the closure ¢10 and 110! is removed.
