Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of shaped articles resistant to high temperatures which are obtained by mixing a phenol-formaldehyde and/or cresol-formaldehyde resin with a polysiloxane resin optionally in the presence of compounds which split off formaldehyde and fillers. The resulting mixture is then cured by heating. The premature decomposition of the formaldehyde resins when heated will be avoided by said procedure.
