Abstract: Provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure are a control display method and apparatus, and an electronic device and a storage medium. The method comprises: displaying a video playing page, wherein a target video picture of the currently played video and at least one control area are displayed on the video playing page, the at least one control area being located on an upper layer of the target video picture and being used for displaying at least one interactive control of the currently played video; receiving a target sliding operation which acts on the video playing page; and in response to the target sliding operation, controlling the target video picture to move in the sliding direction of the target sliding operation, and adjusting the degree of shielding of the at least one interactive control for the target video picture.
