Abstract: A media content sharing method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: displaying target media content in a media content display page (S101); in response to a display operation of a target user for sharing, displaying, in a preset area of the media content display page, a user identifier of at least one user for sharing, wherein a background picture of the preset area is associated with the target media content (S102); and in response to a sharing operation for the target media content, sharing the target media content with said target user corresponding to the user identifier on which the sharing operation acts (S103).
