Abstract: Disclosed are various systems and methods for processing and displaying video in a vehicle. In one embodiment, a vehicle video system (101) is provided that comprises a plurality of cameras (103, 106) mounted in a vehicle (100), each of the cameras generating a video image, and the cameras including a plurality of visible light cameras (103) and a plurality of night vision cameras (106). The vehicle video system (101) also includes a video processing unit (109), where each of the cameras and each of the monitors (113) are electrically coupled to the video processing unit (109). The video processing unit (109) being configured to select at least two subsets of the cameras from which output video images are obtained for display on monitors (113).

Abstract: Bei der Regelung eines Luftverdichters (13) für ein pneumatisches Bremssystem eines großen Hybrid-Nutzfahrzeugs (z.B. eines Busses, eines Paketzustellungswagens etc.) wird zum Regeln eines Luftverdich, z.B. wenn die Motorwelle rotiert, eine Proportional-, Integral- und Differential-Regelung (PID) verwendet, und während des Hochfahrens oder bei Syst Welle, wird zur Regelung eine Zustandsmaschine verwendet. Auf diese Weise werden Stillstands-Ereignisse, die aufgrund der Unfähigkeit der PID-Regelung zur Korrektur unerwarteter Störungen auftreten, durch den Einsatz der Maschinenzustands-Regelung beseitigt.

Abstract: Eine Steuergeräteeinheit erleichtert eine Ermittlung, dass ein sich schnell näherndes vorausfahrendes Fahrzeug einen Schnellannäherungs-Schwellenwert durchbrochen hat, und kann eine Bremsenergie-Rückgewinnung zum Verlangsamen eines hybriden Wirts-Nutzfahrzeugs, in welchem die Steuergeräteeinheit verwendet wird, einleiten. Die Steuergeräteeinheit ermittelt, ob in dem Ladezustand (SOC) einer Hochspannungsbatterie Kapazität verfügbar ist, die eine Bremsenergie-Rückgewinnung erlaubt, und/oder ermittelt, ob in fahrzeugeigenen Luftvorratsbehältern Kapazität verfügbar ist, die es einem Verdichtermotor erlaubt, Luft zu verdichten, und dadurch Ladung aus der Batterie zu entnehmen, um Bremsenergie-Rückgewinnungskapazität zu erzeugen. Wenn der Batterieladezustand unterhalb einer vorbestimmten Schwelle liegt und ein sich schnell näherndes Fahrzeug einen Schnellannäherungs-Schwellenwert durchbricht, sendet die Steuergeräteeinheit einen Bremsenergie-Rückgewinnungsbefehl an einen Fahrmotor, auf welchen hin dieser als Generator arbeitet, um der Batterie Ladung zuzuführen, welches wiederum das Fahrzeug verlangsamt.

Abstract: An integrated video/data information system for use on-board a commercial vehicle comprises a digital integrated data bus for conveying among bus compatible camera and display modules coupled to the bus video and data information in a digital format based on a predetermined bus protocol. Each camera module is operative to transmit, upon command, over the bus the image data in a digital format compatible with the predetermined bus protocol. Each display module is operative to receive from the bus, upon command, image data originating from a selected camera module, and to display the image data on a display monitor thereof. The system includes a bus master module coupled to the integrated data bus for transmitting commands over the bus to the camera and display modules. Such commands comprise a first command for directing a selected camera module to transmit image data thereof over the bus, and a second command for directing a selected display module to receive image data corresponding to the selected camera module from the bus and to display the received image data on the display monitor thereof. The first and second commands may be transmitted based on the operational status of the vehicle.

The sensed compressed air temperature is compared with a predetermined threshold temperature. The air compressor is deactivated when the sensed temperature exceeds the threshold temperature.
