Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject apparatus wherein a scouring means has a passage which is structured with a wall having holes and the like to thereby enable appropriate milling and scouring operations and to improve the manipulation performance and operational efficiency. SOLUTION: In an apparatus for milling and scouring a length of fabric, provided with a conventional milling means and having a combination of more than two rollers 3, 4, a scouring means 9 is movably provided in between an operational position and a non-operational position upstream the rollers 3, 4, and comprises more than one passage 12 structured with a wall having holes or nozzles. The scouring means 9 preferably comprises a sealed hollow casing 11, which in turn includes the passage 12 and is capable of vertical movement by means of a moving means.
