Abstract: Methods for treating bodies of water with encapsulated corrosive fluids are described. Corrosive fluids may include, for example, hydrochloric acid or other acids used in treating the bodies of water. The encapsulated corrosive fluids may also be used in for treatments in oil and/or gas wells.
