Abstract: A permanent filter for preparing brewed beverages, in particular coffee, is proposed, which consists of a basket (1) with a filter grid (2) and a housing (3) with an adjustable outlet aperture (4). During operation, the outlet aperture (4) is adjusted in such a way that the filtered liquid accumulates in the filter and the ground coffee is no longer pressed against the filter on one side. This allows improved extraction and yield from the ground coffee. In a preferred embodiment, the outlet aperture (4) is arranged eccentrically at the bottom (5) of the housing (3). The basket (1) is mounted rotatably in the housing (3) and is provided at the bottom (6) with a projecting closure section (7) which serves as a closure for the outlet aperture (4). A catch device consisting of a pin (10) at the upper edge of the basket and corresponding recesses (11) at the upper edge of the housing (3) allows stepwise adjustment of the outflow volume and thus of the desired accumulation.

Abstract: This invention relates to toys of the kind consisting of tablets which are preferably rectangular in shape and which are able to move under gravitational influence, being connected uninterruptedly together by tapes so as to be able to move in such a way that if the first tablet is taken hold of and the other tablets are allowed to hang free, then one face of the tablets is visible and if the first tablet is turned down in front of the next tablets below it, then all the tablets which are not held automatically turn over, whereupon the other face of the tablets is visible. According to the invention the tapes consist of segments of equal length having thickened end-pieces and each tablet is given cut-outs parallel to and spaced from the narrow sides of the tablet, which are adjacent adjoining tablets: the shape of the cut-outs allow them to receive and interengage with the end-pieces of the tapes.
