Abstract: L'invention concerne un béton comportant des fibres organiques dispersées dans la matrice cimentaire. En combinant une matrice cimentaire de caractéristiques déterminées et des fibres organiques également de caractéristiques déterminées, notamment la grosseur des particules, la longueur et le diamètre des fibres, par un effet de synergie entre la matrice et les fibres organiques, on améliore le comportement du béton à la fois vis-à-vis de l'apparition de microfissures et de la propagation de macrofissures. La figure est un graphique obtenu par des essais de flexion quatre points respectivement pour des bétons de fibres métalliques et des bétons de fibres organiques.

Abstract: Hormigón que comprende una matriz de cemento endurecida en la cual están dispersadas fibras orgánicas, que se obtiene al mezclar con agua una composición que contiene además de las fibras: (a) cemento, (b) elementos granulares, (c) elementos finos con reacción puzolánica, (d) por lo menos un agente dispersante y caracterizado porque: (1) los elementos granulares (b) tienen un tamaño de grano máximo D de 2 mm como máximo, preferentemente 1 mm como máximo, (2) los elementos finos con reacción puzolánica (c) tienen un tamaño de partícula elemental de 20 m como máximo, preferentemente 1 m como máximo, y porque: (3) el porcentaje en peso del agua con respecto al peso acumulado de cemento (a) y los elementos finos de reacción puzolánica (c) está comprendido entre 8% y 25%, (4) las fibras orgánicas tienen una longitud individual l de por lo menos 2 mm y una relación I/ de por lo menos 20, siendo el diámetro de las fibras, (5) la cantidad de fibras es tal que su volumen representa 8% como máximo del volumen del hormigón después de fraguar, (6) la relación R entre la longitud de las fibras promedio L y el tamaño de grano máximo D de los elementos granulares es de por lo menos 5.

Abstract: A method and composition for preparing concrete elements comprising the steps of mixing a composition comprising the following components expressed in parts by weight (p): a) 100 p of Portland cement; b) 30 p to 100 p or better 40 p to 70 p of fine sand having a grain size of at least 150 micrometers; c) 10 p to 40 p or better 20 p to 30 p of amorphous silicon having a grain size of less than 0.5 micrometers; d) 20 p to 60 p or better 30 p to 50 p of ground quartz having a grain size of less than 10 micrometers; e) 25 p to 100 p, or better 45 p to 80 p of steel wool; f) a dispersing agent; g) 13 p to 26 p or better 15 p to 22 p of water; and after setting, curing the concrete at a temperature of 250 DEG C. or higher, for a length of time sufficient to transform cement hydration products into crystalline hydrates of the xonotlite type; thus eliminating substantially all of the free water and at least the main part of the adsorbed and chemically bonded water.

Abstract: Beton, obsahující vytvrzenou cementovou matrici, ve které jsou rozptýlena organická vlákna, je získán smísením vody a kompozice, obsahující krome organických vláken (a) cement, (b) zrnité složky, (c) jemné složky pucolánového typu, (d) alespon jedno disperzní cinidlo. Zrnité složky (b) jsou prítomny v pomeru od 30 do 60 % hmotnostních cementové matrice a mají velikost D cástic nejvýše 2 mm. Jemné složky (c) pucolánového typu mají velikost cástic nejvýše 20 .mi.m. Organickými vlákny jsou polyvinylalkoholová vlákna, polyakrylonitrilová vlákna, polyetylénová vlákna, vlákna z polyetylénu o vysoké hustote, polyamidová nebo polyimidová vlákna, polypropylénová vlákna homopolymerní nebo kopolymerní, nebo smesi techto vláken, pricemž vlákna mají individuální délku 1 alespon 2 mm a pomer 1/.FI. alespon 20, kde .FI. je prumer vlákna. Množství vláken je takové, že jejich objem predstavuje od 1 % do 8 % objemu betonu po jeho vytvrdnutí.
