Abstract: The invention relates to a free-radical initiator composition for polyolefin modification comprising a peroxide-modified inorganic solid particle prepared from: i) a liquid or solution of hydrogen peroxide, and ii) one or more inorganic solid particles, wherein the inorganic solid particles have affinity to the hydrogen peroxide through hydrogen bonding.
