PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently produce a molded product by reducing the pressure in a cavity housing a specific foamable raw material to foam and react the same and molding a hard polyurethane foam molded product of which the core part has a packing ratio of a specific value. SOLUTION: A recessed part 4 is formed to the lower mold 3 forming a mold 1 and the upper mold 2 of the mold 1 becomes the lid member of the recessed part 4 to form a cavity 5 and a hollow chamber 7 is formed outside the closure part 6 of the recessed part 4 and a pressure adjusting valve 9 is provided to connect the chamber 7 and an air suction device 11 by an air pipe 10. A predetermined amt. of a hard polyurethane foam foamable raw material based on a polyhydroxy compd. and a polylsocyanate compd. is introduced into the cavity 5 and the air in the cavity 5 is sucked by the air suction device 11 to reduce the pressure in the cavity 5 to predetermined pressure to foam and react the foamable raw material to obtain an impact absorbing hard polyurethane foam molded product of which the core part has a packing ratio of 0.5-below 1.2. Therefore, production can be efficiently performed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an energy absorber of a hard polyurethane foam having high performances and productivity, with no inner fracture at a cast-molding with shortened cure time. SOLUTION: This energy absorber is obtained by cast-molding a liquid raw material of a hard polyurethane foam having 130 to 180 isocyanate index.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the removal of a molding from a mold, to vacuum-form a film in advance, to return to an initial form easily, to save labor, to shorten mold using time, and to improve productivity. SOLUTION: A polypropylene film 6 which does not have adhesion to a molding 16 is vacuum-formed in advance in a form analogous to the cavity 5 form of a lower mold 3 and/or an upper mold 2. Next, an expandable raw material is cast on the film 6 in the cavity 5 and expanded. When the expansion of polyurethane foam is finished, the molding 16 is lifted with the film 6, only the molding 16 is peeled off from the film 6 and removed from a mold 1 without removing the whole film 16 from the mold 1, and the lifted film 6 is returned to an initial vacuum-formed form to be rearranged in the cavity 5.

PURPOSE:To produce an impact absorbing molded product by setting the pack ratio of the core part of a molded product to a specific range at the time of the production of a hard polyrethane foam molded product to perform foaming and reaction. CONSTITUTION:A polyurethane foamable raw material based on a polyhydroxy compd. and a polyisocyanate compd. is foamed and reacted in a mold consisting of an upper mold B and a lower mold A to produce a hard polyurethane foam molded product. At that time, a spacer C with a thickness of 2mm or more is arranged between the upper and lower molds B, A and the pack ratio of the core part of the molded product is set to 1.0-1.20 to perform foaming and reaction. By this constitution, the aspect ratio of a cell shape constituting foam becomes a range pref. as an impact absorbing material, that is, 1.20 or more to produce an impact absorbing molded product.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding die preventing the deterioration of molding die quality by venting a proper amount of gas while maintaining the sealability of a cavity, and a method of manufacturing a foamed molding using the molding die.SOLUTION: The molding die 10 includes a packing 16 surrounding a cavity C at least on either one of split surfaces 18 of two split molding dies 12, 14 that are configured to openably/closably form the cavity C inside. The packing 16 is provided in a manner that at least a part of the packing protrudes from the split surface 18. Packing grooves 22 are formed on a protruded surface of the packing 16 as gas discharge passages for discharging gas in the cavity C. Each of the packing grooves 22 is formed in such a way that its bottom 22a is at a depth exceeding the split surface 18. This makes the discharge amount of gas to be a proper amount while preventing the large amount of foam material P from entering between the split surfaces 18, 20 by maintaining a proper discharge amount of gas.

PURPOSE:To facilitate removal of a product and to improve productivity by pouring hard polyurethane foam raw material in a plastic film in molds, taking it out at a stage of finishing its expansion, and separating the film. CONSTITUTION:Plastic films 2A, 2B of a shape similar to those of separable lower mold 1A and upper mold 2B having a product shape are installed in the molds 1A and 2B, a hard polyurethane foam raw material 3A is poured in a plastic film 2A in the molds, the molds 1A and 2B are closed and clamped. The molds are opened at a stage of finishing expansion of the material 3A due to foaming, and polyurethane foam 3B is taken out from the molds together with the films 2A, 2B. Then, when the films 2A and 2B are separated, a hard polyurethane foam molded form 3B can be obtained.
