    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low resilience flexible polyurethane foam that is excellent in laundering durability, solvent durability and the resistance to the discoloration by NO

    SOLUTION: The low resilience flexible polyurethane foam is produced by foaming a polyurethane raw material comprising a polyol component and an isocyanate, wherein the polyol component comprises two or more kinds of polyols having different molecular weights wherein the difference in molecular weight between a high molecular weight polyol having the highest molecular weight and a low molecular weight polyol having the lowest molecular weight is 500 or more; the polyurethane raw material comprises a monool; and the content of the isocyanate in the polyurethane raw material is 0.95-1.15 times the quantity of isocyanate-reactive equivalents relative to the total equivalents of the polyol component, the monool and water. Even if an excess of the isocyanate over the polyol component is used, an excessive crosslinking reaction is suppressed and the flexible polyurethane foam excellent in low resilience can be produced.
