Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve uneven abrasion by adding polysulphide polymer and sulfur in specified quantities to rubber component in which polyisoprene construction rubber and styrene butadiene rubber are compounded with the predetermined weight ratio, in an earth-contact portion of a tread. CONSTITUTION:A radial tire has a carcass in which a cord is arranged substantially at 90 deg. against a circumferential direction of the tire. And on the outside of this carcass, a reinforcing belt comprising more than two cord layers in which the direction of the cords is at comparatively small angle against the circumferential direction of the tire and which cross each other is arranged. And the earth-contact portion of a tread portion is formed in such a way that polysulphide polymer and sulfur are added in the predetermined quantity to rubber component in which polyisoprene construction rubber A and styrene butadiene rubber B that are selected from a group comprising natural rubber, isoprene rubber and blended rubber of the two are arranged with weight ratio of A to B being between 80/20-50/50.
