Abstract: A permanent magnetic material comprising a Nd-Fe-B alloy and an additive including at least a cobalt ferrite, and a method for preparing the permanent magnetic material are provided. The method comprises the following steps: mixing the Nd-Fe-B alloy and the additive including at least a cobalt ferrite to obtain a mixture; magnetically orienting and pressing the mixture in a magnetic field; and sintering and tempering the mixture in vacuum or under the protection of inert gas.
