Abstract: Provided are a decorative substrate and a manufacturing method therefor, a cover plate, and an electronic device. The decorative substrate comprises a base material and a texture layer arranged on the surface of the base material. The texture layer is provided with multiple texture units which are sequentially arranged in a first direction. Each texture unit comprises a protruding part. The cross section of the protruding part in a third direction transitions from an arc segment to a straight line segment in a second direction, wherein the second direction is perpendicular to the first direction, and the third direction is perpendicular to the first direction and the second direction. The highest points of the cross section of the protruding part in the third direction meet at least one of the following relationships: the distance between the highest points of the cross section of the protruding part in the third direction and the surface of the base material changes in the second direction; or the connecting line between the orthographic projections of the highest points of the cross section of the protruding part in the third direction on the base material is an arc segment or a straight line segment, the straight line segment being not parallel to the second direction.
