Abstract: PURPOSE: To change comminution and sorting to a wide range by combining a jet mil and a spiral sorter. CONSTITUTION: A raw material product transportation path 1 enters a dispersion chamber 3 by an injector gas 3 from the same product hopper. A comminuting gas 8 is simultaneously a sorting gas and is introduced through a distribution chamber 9 and a nozzle 10 disposed in a comminution ring to the dispersion chamber 4, where the gas acts in the specifications meeting the target solid material comminution requirement, stagnation time and classification degree in accordance with the design, the amt. of the gas and a nozzle shape. The stagnation time and classification degree may be further changed to the wider range by the supply of a secondary gas. This secondary gas is split by a cone 12 and flows in through a concentric slit 13. A coarsely ground product or a hardly dispersible solid material 14 passes the slit 13 and is discharged into a coarsely ground product receiver 15. The fine product or easily dispersible solid material 16 is recovered together with the exhaust flow through a ground product-exhaust outlet 18.
