Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrochemically produce a crystalline porous organic metal skeleton material containing at least one of at least bidentate organic compounds which are coordinately bound to at least one metal ion, in a reaction medium containing the at least one of at least bidentate organic compounds. SOLUTION: At least one metal ion is provided in the reaction medium by the oxidation of one anode containing the corresponding metal. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel substances particularly effective at dehydrating organic liquids.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to the use of a porous metal-organic framework comprising at least one at least bidentate organic compound coordinated to at least one kind of metal ion, as a desiccant for reducing the water content of an organic liquid or for removing water from an organic liquid.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of absorbing and/or storing gas. SOLUTION: Gas to be stored is brought into contact with an organometallic skeleton electrochemically manufactured under conditions suitable for absorption of the gas to carry out absorption of gas to the organometallic skeleton, and if appropriate, the conditions are subsequently changed so that release of the stored gas occurs.
