Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for routing data through an Internet access box (3) connected to the Internet via a wired communication network (300) by means of the steps for: (a) connecting an Internet access device (1), which is connected to the Internet via a mobile communication network (100), to a local wireless network generated by the Internet access box (3); (b) sending a network address assignment request to the access box (3), said request including a parameter representing a capability of the device (1) for providing access to the Internet; (c) generating a table associated with the device (1) for routing via the mobile communication network (100), said table, associated with the device (1), and at least one table, associated with the access box (3) for routing via the wired communication network (300), being stored on a data storage means (32) of the access box (3); and (d) routing said data via the wired communication network (300) and/or the mobile communication network (100) by using the routing tables stored on the data storage means (32) of the access box (3).
