[Also in Division F4] A method of constructing a mounting for a liquefied petroleum gas tank in the hold of a ship, comprises positioning a support member 22 horizontally through an opening in a bulkhead 14 and adjacent the tank, thermally shrinking the support member 22 on its longitudinal axis, inserting a rigid heat-insulating block between the shrunken support member and the tank, and then permitting the support member to expand to wedge the block between the support member and the tank.
