Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement gas compressor preventing leak of gas from each compression chamber to a suction chamber via a communication passage at a time of regular operation without requiring high process tolerance, and reducing sense of incongruity due to striking noise accompanying switch of delivery quantity.
SOLUTION: The variable displacement gas compressor 10 is provided with a valve device opening and closing an opening 40 opening on a wall surface 15a of a front side block 15 defining a cylinder chamber 17 which is one end of a communication passage 41 for switching delivery quantity from a compression chamber 22. The valve device includes a valve seat 52 surrounding the opening 40 in an outside of a cylinder chamber 17 and a valve element 43 opening and closing the opening 40 of the valve seat. A seal member 50 is provided on a tip end surface 43a or an end wall surface 48a facing the same. The seal member has suppression function of striking noise generated by mutual contact of the tip end surface 43a and the end wall surface 48a.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor enabling the installation of a cyclone block in a compressor body and the installation of a filter body in the compressor body.
SOLUTION: This gas compressor 10 comprises the compressor body 12 compressing a gas and discharging the gas into a discharge chamber 30 and the cyclone block 29 for separating a lubricating oil from the discharged compressive gas. The lubricating oil is recirculated to the compressor body 12 through the discharge chamber 30. The cyclone block 29 is fitted to the wall part 19 of the compressor body 12 and disposed in the discharge chamber 30. A cylindrical filter 51 preventing foreign matters contained in the lubricating oil from invading into the compressor body 12 through an oil supply passage is held by the wall part 19 of the compressor body 12 and the cyclone block 29 in the discharge chamber 30 in the fitted state of one end of the filter body fitted to a receiving pat 19d formed in the wall part 19 of the compressor body 12 since a mounting part 51c is held by a bracket plate 52 fitted to the cyclone block 29.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor capable of reducing friction between a vane and a wall face of a vane channel in a rotation region where the vane receives strong reaction force from the wall face of the vane channel and improving its durability. SOLUTION: A compression mechanism 14 stored in a housing 11 has a cylinder 16, a rotor 19 arranged rotatably in its cylinder chamber 17, and the vane 26 held in the vane channel 25 formed in the rotor and receiving pressure of lubricating oil guided into a back pressure chamber 27 formed in a bottom part of the vane channel as back pressure. The vane is pressed toward a peripheral wall 28 of the cylinder 16 and slides in the cylinder chamber 17. The vane 26 is provided with an oil guide passage 45 opened on at least either of a front face 26b and a rear face 26c of the vane 26 in the vane channel 25. Lubricating oil having higher pressure than pressure of lubricating oil introduced into the back pressure chamber 27 is guided into the oil guide passage 45 when the opened face of the oil guide passage 45 of the vane 26 is in the vicinity of a rotation position where it receives the strongest reaction force from a face of the vane channel. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement gas compressor in which reduction in compression efficiency is prevented, and energy loss is inhibited, thus to ensure a smooth operation.
SOLUTION: The variable displacement gas compressor comprises a compression mechanism main body 12, leak paths, and valve mechanisms. The compressor main body 12 is provided with a compression chamber 16a, the volume of which is increased/decreased by slide movement of sliding bodies 22. The leak path communicates with the compression chamber 16a via an opening 33a made on the wall surface of the compression chamber 16a on which the sliding bodies 22 perform slide movements to allow a compressed gas to leak from the compression chamber 16a in the compression operation of the compressor main body 12. Each of the valve mechanisms opens/closes the opening 33a so as to change the volume of discharge of the compressed gas. In the valve mechanism, a valve element is provided for opening/closing the opening 33a in the outside of the compression chamber 16a, and a filler member is provided on the tip end opposing to the opening 33a of the valve element. The filler member is made of a material wearing out by sliding of the sliding body 22. The filler member fills up the recess formed of the opening and the tip end of the valve element at the position where the opening 33a of the valve element is closed.

A fitting part 43c of the tip end surface 43a can be fitted in the opening 40 of the valve seat 51, and includes an end surface 43d agreeing with a wall surface 15a at a close position of the valve element 43.
