Abstract:
The present invention provides a sheet stacking apparatus for stacking discharged sheets on a sheet stacking plate, comprising a distance sensor disposed above the sheet stacking plate and having a light illumination portion for illuminating light toward the sheet stacking plate and a light receiving portion for receiving reflected light, and a control device for determining a distance between the distance sensor and a sheet stack rested on the sheet stacking plate and for judging a sheet stacking condition of the sheet stacking plate on the basis of the determined distance.
Abstract:
A sheet processing apparatus is provided with a processing tray on which sheets are to be stacked and subjected to a processing, a stack tray provided in the downstream of the processing tray with respect to the sheet conveying direction on which sheets are to be stacked, an oscillation roller pair for conveying the sheets stacked on the processing tray to the stack tray, and a trailing edge assist for conveying the sheet stacked on the processing tray toward the stack tray. The sheets stacked on the processing tray are discharged to the stack tray by the oscillation roller pair and the trailing edge assist.

Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet processing device, and a sheet processing method, capable of correctly performing stapling processes and folding processes to paper of varied friction coefficients such as normal paper and thick paper. SOLUTION: In a case where a sheet P is thick paper, sheet carrying is stopped at a position where an end part of the sheet P is at least abutted on a stopper 62 to support an end part of a sheet when the sheet is carried to a stapling position. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely terminate an operation within a target time while maintaining an upper surface position required for a lower side tray to be retracted in a sheet post-treatment device having a plurality of loading trays in the vertical direction and an image forming device having the device. SOLUTION: The upper surface of the loading tray or the upper surface of a sheet or a sheet bundle loaded on the loading tray is detected at the lower position of a discharge port, and the loading tray is moved to a loading position so that the detected upper surface is positioned under the discharge port. Also, when the loading tray is moved so that the upper surface of the other loading tray is detected from the upper side, the loading tray or the sheet loaded on the loading tray is detected at a retracted position on the lower side of the loading position where the movement of the loading tray to the loading position is not obstructed, and the distance of movement to the retracted position of the loading tray is detected. Then, when it is detected that the loading tray is moved through a distance between the already obtained loading position and a position where the loading tray or the loaded sheets are detected, the loading tray is stopped. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet aftertreatment device and an image forming device provided with it capable of preventing delay of timing for delivering a sheet beyond necessity and optimizing the time required for travel of a loading tray. SOLUTION: An upper face of one loading tray or an upper face of a sheet or a bundle of sheets loaded on the loading tray is positioned below a delivery port, and the other tray is moved without bringing it into contact with the loading tray. The time for moving each loading tray is computed from the results of inference of loading amount of each loading tray based on sheet information from the image forming device. Timing for receiving a sheet from the image forming device is obtained from timing for delivering a sheet from the delivery port based on the results of computation. The timing for delivering the sheet from the image forming device becomes simultaneous with or is delayed than the timing for receiving the sheet. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet handling device capable of effectively preventing a pushing fall of a sheet bundle from a stack tray and disturbance of loading condition thereof with delivery of the sheet bundle, restricting a bad influence on productivity of an image forming device. SOLUTION: This sheet handling device 119 is arranged with three parallel lines of area sensor flags 232, and the stack tray 128 is arranged with area sensors 225, 226 and 225 corresponding to each line of the area sensor flags. Till the flag 232b is not detected by the area sensor 226 in the state that the flag 232c is detected by the area sensor 225, buffer operation in a buffer unit 140 is prohibited in a stage that the stack tray 128 is lowered, and after delivering the sheet bundle from a handling tray 129 to the stack tray 128, following sheets are received and stacked on the handling tray 129. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance stacking property of buffer sheets on a processing tray by reducing the number of buffer sheets from time allowance generated when a conveying speed of the fed sheets becomes slow or a conveying interval of the sheets becomes wide. SOLUTION: The sheet processing device is provided with a buffer unit 140 for buffering the sheets stacked on the processing tray 129; and a sheet processing device control part for performing buffer action to the buffer unit during operation of a stapler unit 132. Further, the sheet processing device control part accumulatingly measuring a conveying interval time of the sheets conveyed to the buffer unit during processing action of the buffer unit and after the accumulation time cumulatively measured exceeds a processing time of the stapler unit, the buffer action is finished.
