Abstract: A data transfer method for transferring data to an information-side driver for driving a display apparatus is provided. Wherein, driver circuits each comprising a chip address/video data discrimination circuit and a unit driver are mounted around said display apparatus. A unique chip address is set for each of the unit drivers by means of a hardware pattern. Data exchange with the driver circuits is performed so that chip address information and video data information are time-divisionally transferred to the target unit driver using a chip address/video data common bus line and a chip address/video data discrimination control signal.

Abstract: A preservation performance of a display state of a display device having a ferroelectric liquid crystal (FLC) as a display device is effectively used, thereby realizing the optimum picture quality according to the temperature and the number of lines to be displayed and updated. The display device is driven by the interlace mode or non-interlace mode on the basis of the number of lines whose displays are updated, a program to be executed, or the temperature. By providing a table, the interlace mode is made different on the basis of various conditions.

Abstract: The invention relates to a composite image file system organically combining optical disks and microfilms. The system comprises optical disk recording means 40, microfilm recording means 50 and a work station 10 intended to record, search for and process image files stored on the disks and the microfilms. The work station has a memory intended to record an information item on searching for the integrated format between the optical disk and the microfilm. This search information item specifies certain characteristics of the recording media. Field of application: file management with microfilms and optical disks.
