Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily undo jams by disposing a jam undoing lever at that rotation- axis end portion of a conveyor member which is opposite to a driver source, and turning the jam undoing lever so as to simultaneously rotate a platen roller and actuate a cutter. CONSTITUTION:A recording means comprises a recording head 16a held to a holder 16b, and a coil spring 16c for pressing the recording head 16a against a platen roller 15(a, b), the coil spring 16c having one end attached to the holder 16b. A cutter 17 has its fixed blade 17a attached to a cutter frame 17c, together with a guide member 30 serving as a lower guide for recording sheets. A jam undoing lever 29 is removably attached to that rotation-axis end position of the platen roller 15 which is opposite to a drive source. The cutter 17 is driven by a drive source for driving the platen roller 15. The jam undoing lever 29 is turned so as to simultaneously rotate the platen roller 15 and actuate the cutter 17 to easily undo jams.

The manuscript is pressed by the holding member 13 by a spring 17 to the adhesion image sensor 9, the feeding roller 7 and the discharging roller 11, and the holding member is discriminated against the spring force so that the carrier system is opened thereby.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make more numerous recording sheets possible to be loaded and prevent the recording sheets from slipping down, by making the first guide member possible to make turning movement position higher than a protuberance part provided on the second guide member. Also, the pushing pressure of the outside tray 14 to the recording sheets 7 is increased and the recording sheets already loaded can be prevented from slipping down.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the most compact and sharpest optical system by means of an inner face mirror and to read a picture stably by reflecting the picture of an original lighted by a light source in the inner face mirror of cylindrical shape and enabling the inner face reflection for plural number of times, forming an image by an image forming lens and reading the result by a picture read element. CONSTITUTION:An original 1 positioned by a guide 13 placed on an original platen 12 of a picture reader is carried to the read position by an automatic feed mechanism 2 and a paper feed roller 3. The picture light from the original 1 lighted by a fluorescent light 5 at the read position is made incident in the inner face mirror through an incident window 7 provided on the inner face mirror 6 of cylindrical shape and using its inner face as the reflecting mirror. The picture light made incident in the inner face mirror 6 repeats reflection in a constant optical path length of the inner face and made incident in the image forming lens 9 through a reflection light extraction window 8 provided on the inner face mirror 6 and the image is formed on the read element 10. Then the constitution of the picture reader is made small by the cylindrical reflecting mirror 6 to make the reading stable.
