Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To store excess developer when replenishing the developer. SOLUTION: In the device, the developer to be consumed by a developing means of an image forming device is stored by a developer receiving container shown in the fig. When the developer inside the container is finished, the developer is replenished by opening and closing each opening and closing lids 2 and 4 after the developer replenishing container 3 is loaded. Furthermore, a buffer 200 is provided in a vicinity of a leading tip part in a direction where the opening and closing lids 2 and 4 are closed and the excess developer is temporarily stored. New excess developer can be stored at a next developer replenishing since the developer inside the buffer 200 can be scraped off by the movement of an agitating member 47.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sheet which is comparatively stiff or a sheet bundle from being damaged even if they are carried. SOLUTION: When the sheet whose thickness is equal to or over the prescribed thickness is detected by a sheet thickness detection means 50, a sheet curvature change means 90 is controlled by a control means 500 so that the curvature of both side edge parts of the sheet is more reduced than the case that the above sheet is not detected. When the folded sheet is detected by the detection means 50, the change means 90 is controlled by the control means 500 so that the curvature in the folded area is more reduced than that of the outside of the folded area.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an aligning fence to an accurate position in the case of the next aligning operation, even in the case of a stepping motor generating a step out unepectedly caused by an electric noise or the like. SOLUTION: In the case of aligning a sheet of maximum width in its width direction, relating to a reference aligning fence 10a, a movable aligning fence 10b is moved to a receiving position 2, standby position 1, fixed position 4, to make aligning operation, and thereafter moved to 4→1→2→, to make reset operation. In the case of the sheet in minimum width, at each conveying a sheet, the aligning fence 10b is reciprocated to 3→1→5→1→3. Regardless of a size of the sheet width, at any operating time of aligning/resetting operation, by passing through the standby position, it serves as the absolute position reference of the aligning fence 10b. When the other receiving position 2, 3 and the aligning position 4, 5 are positioned, these positions can be made always accurate.

Thereafter, a sheet bundle supporting surface of the matching tray 4 opens, and the sheet bundle clamp 5 carries the sheet bundle A to a bind tray 6 below without disarranging a matched state of the sheet bundle A. Thereafter, when an end part of the sheet bundle A on the bind tray 6 is bound by a bind tape heated and pressurized by a center heater 7 and side heaters 8, 9, the sheet bundle supporting surface of the bind tray 6 opens, and the bound sheet bundle A is delivered to sheet bundle storage means 10, 11 below the bind tray 6 without causing bookbinding disarrangement.

When the tape is employed in binding a bundle of A5 sheets, the reference block 502A is cut between the blocks 502A, 502B and used. When the tape is employed in binding a bundle of B5 sheets, the reference block 502A and the auxiliary block 502B are cut between the blocks 502B, 502C and used.

CONSTITUTION:A carriage 60 of a bookbinding device 203 has a carrying means 61 and a handling means 63. The carrying means 61 is opposed at the free end to a back face contact position A2, and can freely rotate with a base end side prescribed position as the rotational center, and can vertically move. The handling means 63 can move together with the carrying means 61, and moves a bookbinding finish product in the back face contact position A2 onto the carrying means 61 by handling it with prescribed sandwiching force. The carriage 60 moves the bookbinding finish product at high speed to a prescribed position of the bookbinding device 203 without disturbing register of the bookbinding finish product. The carriage 60 carries the bookbinding finish product to a classifying and housing device outside of or adjacent to the bookbinding device 203 after the bookbinding finish product is carried in stackers 71 and 72 in a prescribed position in the bookbinding device 203 or the handling means 63 is retreated from the carrying direction of the bookbinding finish product.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable stable conveyance of a bundle of sheets without applying unreasonable stress to a sheet bundle at the time of bookbinding of the sheet bundle whose edges are aligned by an aligning tray at an abutting position of the back sides. CONSTITUTION:A sheet bundle are moved in almost a vertical direction to a loading surface of a sheet together with aligning trays so that the sheet bundle is pinched and held on the basis of the lowest sheet by the first and second clamp members 53, 55 and a condition wherein the sheet S is pinched and held by the clamp members 53, 55 and relative positions among aligning trays 41, 42 and the clamps 53, 55 are not changed. Then the clamp members 53, 55 are moved in almost horizontal direction to the loading surface of the sheet and the sheet bundle is conveyed to an abutting position A of the back sides, through which a stable conveyance in a bundle is enabled without applying unreasonable stress to the sheet bundle.
