    Abstract: A video recording device is specified, which has an image-sensor device for converting an optical image into an electrical signal, a shutter for blocking the light which is incident onto the image-sensor device, a signal-generator device for forming periodic signals which are produced in order to read the electrical signal out of the image-sensor device periodically, a switch for inputting a command in order to operate the shutter, a first time-transmitter device which is set in operation by a predetermined, periodic signal which is produced after operation of the switch, and a shutter-control device which starts to open the shutter once a time duration which is predetermined and calculated by means of the time-transmitter device has elapsed. The video-recording device makes it possible, by means of the first time-transmitter device, to prevent any delay in the operation of the shutter and the like.     Abstract: Electromagnetically released shutter in which the curtains or shutter elements are locked in the cocked state by retaining elements, and in which exposure is performed by releasing the shutter elements from the retaining elements. A first retaining element is provided for the purpose of locking each of the cocked shutter elements. Furthermore, a second retaining element is provided which locks the respective shutter element after it has been released from the first retaining element. The shutter element is released from the second retaining element by an electromagnet. The releasing moment required for the second retaining element is smaller than the releasing moment required for the first retaining element.

    Abstract: A description is given of an electromagnetic shutter release which is designed such that the shutter can be released by means of a small and relatively weak magnet, the shutter being held reliably in the cocked state by means of a first anchor element in order to prevent the shutter from being inadvertently released by a jolt or the like. At the instant of exposure, the first anchor element is released mechanically in a fashion corresponding to the release of the camera, in which case the shutter is held for a time by means of a second anchor element and then released electromagnetically.

According to a specific embodiment disclosed, the follower-curtain controlling electromagnet saturates earlier than the leading curtain controlling magnet so as to compensate for deterioration of an energizing battery and thereby limits the problem of shutter time lag resulting from the long battery use.

    Abstract: An electromagnetically driven shutter for use in a photographic camera has blades driven by an electromagnetic drive source to move in vertical directions. The electrical power supply control means for the electromagnetic drive source is provided with means for detecting the photographic posture of the camera, whereby the output torque of the electromagnetic drive source is changed as the camera posture changes. This is done in order to insure that the speed of movement of the shutter blades is maintained constant regardless of whether or not the camera is positioned normally, or upside down.
