Abstract:
An article comprising a sulfinic acid compound or a thiosulfonic acid compound, and a microporous region, a method for producing the above article, and an medium to be recorded for use in the ink-jet which is manufactured by using the article, wherein the sulfinic acid compound or the thiosulfonic acid compound is contained in the form of a salt or a free acid and in a state in which the above compound can diffuse with ease. The above medium can prevent the yellowing due to BHT, which is a phenol type antioxidant, satisfactorily.

Image-recorded article having coating layer on part of image formed is formed by providing liquid composition having polymer, providing image-recorded article formed on recording medium using ink-jet recording method, and applying the liquid composition to part of an image of the recorded article. Formation of image-recorded article having coating layer on part of the image formed, comprises providing liquid composition having polymer, providing image-recorded article formed on recording medium using ink-jet recording method, and applying the liquid composition to part of an image of the recorded article to insolubilize the polymer on the surface of the image to form the coating layer at a position where liquid composition is applied. The recording medium has a surface that insolubilizes the polymer.
