    Abstract: PURPOSE:To production an output by changing a mark and a color so that a copy can be identified, by a method wherein first information among document information stored in a storage means is outputted in a specific color, further the copy of the first information being outputted by adding information discriminating that it is a copy and the editing of the stored document information is controlled to be forbidden while the copy is outputted. CONSTITUTION:If a COPY key COPKY is pushed down and a ribbon is for two color printing use, which color of the two colors can be outputted is judged by a ribbon color flag RISF. When the printing of auxiliary color blue is made possible, RISF is set for black and a lever 24 is so set that black (basic color) can be printed. In order to protect a memory until COPY printing is ended, a input key is forbidden. Then, printing is carried out with each line and repeated until a page feed mark is reached. Then, only the printing on a first page is ended, RISF being set blue and the lever 24 is set of blue printing use. Then, an address pointer PPOINT is made to indicate the top on the first page and the same page is printed again in a different color.

CONSTITUTION:A document is read by reader 122 and stored on a photomagnetic disk 151. At this time, retrieval indexes corresponding to respective documents are generated in an index file on a magnetic disk 105. When document data are recorded on the disk 151 one after another until the capacity of recorded documents exceeds the 1st set value, the index field in looked up to transfer document data which satisfy preset condition from the disk 151 to an optical disk 141. In this case, the contents of the index file are also rewritten. If the disk 151 has a margin in its memory capacity as a result, a document to be stored next is recorded there.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To recognize environment in three dimensions as the pattern of distance by forming light information from plural points of external environment into an imaged picture divided into plural areas through plural optical paths, and controlling an operating part based on the distance pattern of the external environment from plural kinds of distance information. CONSTITUTION:A self-scanning sensor 15 is provided with a function to output an electric signal corresponding to the intensity of illumination of each picture element part of a body image detected by each light receiving element 15a of many number of microsegments as a time series signal in conformity to order determined beforehand. In this case, a measured visual field is set in the vicinity of the image forming position of an image 12', and in contrast to it, a range where the image 12' moves according to the distance of the body 12 is made a reference visual field. Then, scanned output related to two images 12' are extracted as waveforms like signals S-1, S-2, and distance to the body is measured by detecting an interval between the signals S-1 and S-2 corresponding to two images by an electric signal processing circuit. Thus, the environment can be recognized in three dimensions as the pattern of the distance.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate a variable print charge according to the number of printed sheets, the price of printed charged information, and an advertisement charge to be deduced by determining the value according to 1st value information of output information and 2nd value information of additional information added to the output information. SOLUTION: On a screen of 'print of advertisement', it is decided which button is pressed (S701). When a 'cancel' button is pressed, the process is ended without setting advertisement. When an 'OK' button is pressed, the output format of advertisement is transmitted to a CanDINet control part (S703) and a print charge determined by taking the output format of the advertisement into account is received. The CanDINet control part calculates a print charge on the basis of the charge of an information provider when no advertisement is printed. When advertisement is printed, the discount charge based upon the advertisement printing is subtracted from the calculated print charge to recalculate a print charge.
